Santa outside my window

FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenge has a brand-new challenge for you to join!

This challenge blog is all about celebrating the cozy, rustic charm of country life during the holidays — think barns, wildlife, snow-covered fields, and all things outdoorsy and festive!

Each challenge is Anything Goes, as long as it captures that country Christmas feel.

We are a just-for-fun challenge, but you could earn our Grand Champion Winner Badge (with a Guest DT invite) or proudly display our Wintery Top 3 Badge on your blog or socials.

My project features a wintery Christmas scene made with die-cuts.

I started with an embossed background then cut the red window frame and added foam tape to the back.  I created the Santa sled scene with another die cut and black cardstock.  After putting it all together, I added a sprig of greenery and a silver bow.

I can’t wait see what you create — and don’t forget to check out the blog for beautiful inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!

My project features a snowy and festive house-front created with Yuletide Lane Bundle by Concord & 9th. This card took me a lot of time to create as I'm not one to have a lot of patience when it comes to dealing with a lot of parts, but I persevered.  Now that I've created this one, I can use it as a template, and I know it will get faster next time around.

Baking Spirits Bright

It’s time for a new challenge over at the FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenge!

This fun and creative challenge blog is all about using grocery-themed items in your projects — think produce, pantry staples, baked goods, or anything you’d find at your local market!

The theme for our current challenge is — as always — Anything Food Goes! That means you have the freedom to create with any food-inspired images, elements, or designs your crafty heart desires.

For my project, I created a card featuring gingerbread cookies - yum!

I used the stamp set Baking Spirits Bright by Taylored Expressions. This is a super quick and cute card to make in a pinch! I stamped the images on Kraft cardstock using Fallen Leaves VersaFine Clair pigment ink. After adding touches of red using a colored pencil, I used matching die-cuts.  I applied Frayed Burlap distress ink to the edges as well as to the lighter background cardstock.

Mistletoe Joy at Chrismtas [or not] Bingo Challenges

Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenges has a brand-new challenge ready for you!

Each challenge, CBC features a fresh Bingo card filled with fun and creative prompts - and while it's not your typical game of BINGO, the rules are simple:

Choose at least three items from ONE column and include them in your project.

This is a just-for-fun challenge, but it's a great way to get inspired - and you could earn a Winner or Top Pick Badge to proudly display on your bog or socials!

For my project, I picked the "O" column, which includes:

  • CAS - No Stamping - Distress Ink - Pearls

I had so much fun working with these elements!

This was a quick and easy card to put together, using Mistletoe Kisses Die Cut set by MFT and Peace Love Joy Frames by Concord & 9th.

After using Distress Oxide Ink to create the background, I lightly sprayed Silver Sheer Shimmer spray over the entire card.  Two colors of green were used to create the mistletoe, silver metallic cardstock for the sentiment and bow, and to finish it off, white pearls were used as the berries.+

Visit the Christmas [or not] BINGO Challenges blog to check out the full BINGO card and get inspired by the Design Team's creations. Then it's your turn - we can't wait to see what you make!

I created a card featuring holly branches using images from Holly Berries set by Hero Arts. After stamping the image and sentiment onto kraft cardstock, I pulled out my Prismacolor pencils and started coloring. I'm definitely not the strongest with pencils but every once in a while, I have to try.

Peace Bear

Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenges has a brand-new challenge ready for you!

Each challenge, CBC features a fresh Bingo card filled with fun and creative prompts - and while it's not your typical game of BINGO, the rules are simple:

Choose at least three items from ONE column and include them in your project.

This is a just-for-fun challenge, but it's a great way to get inspired - and you could earn a Winner or Top Pick Badge to proudly display on your bog or socials!

For my project, I picked the "B" column, which includes:

  • Christmas - Brown - Plaid - Digital Image

I had so much fun working with these elements - they really pushed my creativity!

The image I used is one I have had for a very long time, anyone remember Stampfairy?! Well, this is Jake and he was colored with Copic markers. The papers I chose to work with are from my stash and I believe the plaid is from Echo Park, the berry background is Hearth & Holiday by Simple Stories.  The sentiment was a die-cut from the Classic Holiday Greetings collection by Concord & 9th.
