CAS Merry

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  CAS is the theme for our new challenge - don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed.

We are a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along for your chance to proudly display our Winners or Top 3 Badge.

To create this card, I used Stacked Merry Die-namics and Mistletoe Kisses (no longer available) by MFT and Stitched Rectangles by Pink & Main.

This is definitely a quick and easy card when you need one in a pinch!

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Christmas Gnome Stack

GNOMES is the theme for our December challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until January 10th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

The image is Christmas Gnome Stack by Conie Fong Art.  I printed the image on copic paper then went to work coloring. After coloring I put it through my Silhouette Cameo and was very disappointed when the blade didn't cut through the paper so I ended up fussy cutting (which I really don't like doing!) to salvage the images.

I pulled out my brand new Stacked Merry Die-namics by MFT and cut three layers of white and one layer of contrasting color then glued them all together to create a stack,  After choosing the background papers, I glued the die-cuts into position, applied foam tape to the back of the image and placed it next to the sentiment.  To finish it off, a button and some baker's twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Merry Snail

This image is Holiday Snail by Gerda Steiner Designs.  I think this is my second time trying my hand at an interactive card.  It always takes me so long to figure things out so I hope my second card will go much faster!

I used the Movin' & Groovin' Slimline die set by MFT although I don't see this set on their website, it is available at Simon Says Stamp.  I followed a tutorial on MFT YouTube that was quite helpful.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Holidays!

Feeling Merry Yet?

It's time for another challenge at Winter Wonderland and the theme for this challenge is Christmas Feast.  Yup, we wanna see plates of food, desserts, candy and/or bevvys for "cheering".

Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and the lucky winner will receive two images of their choice!

I chose to work with Christmas Cheer for this challenge.

I colored these characters with Copic markers then went to work searching for background papers from my stash.  After I put the layers together I added some bakers twine and a few enamel dots.

Make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team then it's your turn to start creating!

Merry Christmas CAS Style

Our last ATG challenge of 2020 at Creatalicious Challenges

Our sponsor for this challenge is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and in keeping with the CAS theme, I made the following card.

I used the Merry Christmas stamp and die-cut set by Photo Play.  I added multiple "merry" layers to the die cut for some height and dimension then used Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink for the middle splotch.  Put it all together with a smattering of sequins and the CAS Card is done!

Thanks for stopping by for a quick CAS visit and I hope to see your creations!
