3:30 AM 9 Comments
Hello all my dear Cheery Lynn Designs friends and DT mates. Irit is here for my  last post on this DT.
You will see some new girls and some old ones starting  next week and I hope you  liked my projects you have seen for  my 10 month term on this great and most generous DT ever.
So for my last post I decided to show you some of my lastest projects  made with Cheery Lynn Dies.
This " Loads of love" card made with 3 doilies cut  with French Pastry Doily die , folded to fan shape.

Altered Apron shaped gift card holder made with 2 Exotic Small Butterflies-  yes, this is the die I lost, the project was made a bit before.

"Just hot summer" page made with French Pastry Doily, Victorian  Picket Fence and Border Carnivale  lace border

So it's over- my fantastic 10 month on this DT with the most talented designers I met.  I wish you a very happy and creative crafting and I will be here  to be inspired from all new and old DT members.
Wish you all the very best and see you on the web!

Small things with big dies

3:34 AM 2 Comments
And here I am again with my new " collection" of small and cute projects with  " Big" CHERRY  LYNN DESIGNS  dies. The first one is this mini cards holder made with 2 dies: my very much favorite Border Carnivale and 2 dies for the title spot from Little Stackers Ovals and Little Stackers Scalloped Oval set.

And a very simple and cute card - I used this Little Stackers  Scalloped Square dies here- 2 sizes added with 3d foam glue ..

And the last one for today- I used this Sea Shells by Sea shore die again.
I added the border shells around the photo, seugalls on the sky and sea horses and shell  on the lower corner

My   term on    this  DT is almost over and I just have one more post in this blog to share. Some  new girls will be here from October  to show you another styles and another die cut tricks. It was a great time on a most generous DT ever, I still have all my dies and you will see them on the web and maybe even in print..
See you next last week. In the meantime- run to Cheery Lynn Designs  shop.. Maybe you can do the next DT call too.. And maybe I will be back here again. See you next week for my last post here.

Two more of Cheery Lynn Designs projects to share

3:30 AM 4 Comments
It's this time of the year when I have time to craft and I actually do it a lot. So this altered handmade book cover frame was one of my latest creations. Made with a couple of  real bookboards, but hand cut and hand covered and embellished with a lots of Cheery Lynn  Designs dies.  I promised you I will be  back with my butterflies and I am, all of them are here,  from the Small  #2 Exotic Butterflies  set and from Dimensional  Butterflies  Bundles set too- inside the cover.

And some other dies were used here as well: Judy's blooms , Tropical  Fluorish  and Darling Daisies.
Look at the inside- it's a frame for 2 photos that can be changed

And a close up to the cover

So as you can see the Cheery Lynn Designs dies are so versatile that we can use them over and over for all kind of crafts- not cards only.
And now for the second project- Altered Ikea frame
Same Exotic Small #2  Butterflies set again- totally different look with this Oriental altered frame .
And the bad news: I lost this butterfly die.. Just can't find it anywhere in my craft room.. I hope it will show up some day again, but I still have 2 more from the same set and some big ones too..

So see you again in just 4 days: our new September die release will be in the blog and in our

About 3-4 weeks ago Unibind FB page offered some free items to alter as a self challenge . So I signed for this challenge as I love challenges and got 4 covered chipboard pieces to work with. Here are the results of those alterations- not bad ones, actually as the Gift holder  was their  winner and I won the Unibind photo creator- great  prize to win for the small project.Didn't get it yet and I hope they sent some covers too and it work for 220 V  too.. If not? I am still their winner and Cheery Lynn Designs
