Cookies Amazing Campingtrip – sort of…

Hey everybody! Me have been on a fun campingtrip last week. Well… sort of. Me went to the Vakantiebeurs here in The Netherlands. Translated you can say the Holiday Fair. It a huge fair that lasts almost a week, where you can get a taste of different cool vacation spots. It really possible to travel the whole world in one day! You will be tired at the end of it, but you have seen it all. It is a great way to experience all kinds of cool things and get a taste of the beautiful world we live in. So… will you come with me on me pretend campingtrip?

In a Galaxy not so far away – apparently

In a Galaxy far, far away, the world needed to be saved from an evil emperor who wanted to destroy ALL the cookies in the Universe. There was only one googly-eyed hero who could do that. So this fuzzy and blue hero packed his bag full of cookies, jumped on the back of his best friend and together – armed with a photocamera – they went to seek out Yoda so they could learn how to defeat Darth Vader and save ALL the Cookies in the Galaxy… Swoosh… swoosh… heehee.

It’s poisonous!

Me really love Berry her job, because she takes me everywhere! Even to an exhibition about… poison. Or better yet: VENOM. Yes. The exhibition in Dutch is called GIF! and can be seen at Naturalis in Leiden, the Netherlands. The exhibition was dedicated to the famous scientist (well he is very famous in the Netherlands) dr. Freek Vonk. He travels all around the world to look for animals and other natural phenomena’s and tells kids about them in a television show. He even got bitten by a shark! But he survived and has a huge scar to prove it all happened. Well... Berry took me and her youngest nephew on a traintrip to Leiden to meet Freek and to meet all these creepy crawlers and such who are indeed poisonous!

Plushie Fashion Week 2017: The Cat Hat Collection

You know me have a best friend who makes all me clothes right? She also like to make scarfs and hats and Cookie pins for me friends on Instagram. You can read more about that in this months’ edition of Pet’s Mews - me friends totally surprised us with that article! Well, in September me very good and sweet friend Tipsy Cat Bose - editor in chief at Pet’s Mews – decided it was time to host the first annual #plushiefashionweek2017. Ofcourse Berry just had to enter. We entered #plushiefashionweekAW17 with a special Autumn/Winter collection inspired by… the island Texel. (pictures by Berry de Nijs)

Fun in Oberhausen with Lego’s and SeaLife

It already a while ago, but me had so much fun me needed to do a blog about it anyway. On March 1st Berry took her brother, his wife and kids with her to Oberhausen in Germany. You see, she had a press thingy for her blog and this time she could share it with everybody. So after rubbing the sleep out of me googly eyes – we had to get up real early – we took a road trip to Germany. It promised to be a very fun day!

Cookie at the Keukenhof ~ part 1

As you may know me bestie Berry is a writer slash blogger slash reporter (hey, me learned all me reporting skills from her, cuz she also a writing coach). For her blog she gets invited to all kinds of exciting events. So… at the first day of Spring – March 21 – she took me to Keukenhof in Lisse for the pre-opening of the well… new season of the Keukenhof. And it was soooo cool! Me saw so many flowers and even Nijntje lives there! Me was also very happy me no did had to walk...

Having a Day of Vacation at the Vacation Expo

Since me bestie Berry is a freelance text writer and blogger, she has visited many great expo’s, openings, zoos and museums. For the third year in a row now she took me to ‘de Vakantiebeurs’, or Vacation Expo in Dutch. This expo is huge in the Netherlands and is visited by many people, also from abroad. It starts on Tuesday with a day for press and professionals and ends on Sunday. So it takes up almost a week! The purpose of the expo is that travel bureaus promote their accommodations and destinations so you can find the vacation of your dreams. It awesome. You can travel the whole world… in just one day!

Have me told about…Munch|van Gogh?

You know me love art right? Me love to draw and color in me coloring books. But me also love to visit a museum or two. With me friend Berry me have been to the Van Gogh Museum three times last year. But the last time, me loved it the best. That was already back in September (told ya me is a bit behind on me blogging). So we went to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam for this special exhibit of art made by Vincent van Gogh and Edvard Munch!

Have you seen me new profile picture on me Facebook page? Me is also put it here so no worries if you missed it (do not be shy and gimme a follow on either Facebook or Instagram so you get the good stuff first). Me is sitting here in front of all kinds of gorgeous, old and traditional instruments. It was quite the shot to take, me sat on the railing of the balcony, because the instruments were hanging from the ceiling. Where it was, you ask? Well, it was at the Afrika Museum in Berg en Dal, the Netherlands. Berry went there for her blog and me – of course – tagged along! And me is so glad me did. So… Have me told about Afrika Museum?

Cookie loves art

Me love Art! Me even loves to paint a chocolat chip cookie once in a while. But me also loves to go to a museum and ponder away while looking at statues and paintings. Last week me went to the Van Gogh Museum and to the Statuepark Anningahof because Berry needed to go there for her work. Me tagged along happily ofcourse. Because me sure do Love me some art! Cute encounters

Me have been so busy lately. Berry took me to all this fun things for her work, but also for some pleasure. Me had some cute encounters because of that too. First with the baby polar bears in Ouwehand Dierenpark in Rhenen. That was the Monday before Earth Hour. And then Berry took me to Dolfinarium in Harderwijk to go on egg hunting. Well… no chicken eggs but ray and shark eggs. It was for a good cause. And much fun. The best thing was when me went under water to meet with the walruses. They are so cute and cuddly. And look, Raisa came over to cuddle me too! Me is having a blast with all this field trips. Me sure hope me go on a new field trip again soon!

Travelling Around in January

O boy O boy the last few weeks have been so bizzy! And because Berry was keeping the laptop to herself for work, me was patiently waiting for her to move out of the way and tell you something about it.
