Birthdays and packing ...

Two weeks today and we will be on holiday and I cannot wait!!  Already packing in my head LOL!!

I love this image by Saturated Canary, Pack light, and this is going to be me!!!  Icoloured the image using my copics, and added some viva pen pearls and a bit of stardust stickles under the suitcase.  The dp is Basic Grey What's up, and I just added some ribbon, a bow and a Whimsy corner.

The girls are very excited about going on holiday, abut both are concerned whether the tooth fairy will find them as they both have wobbly teeth - apparently there is a tooth fairy that covers Scotland so we have 2 relieved little girls!!!

But I need to get a couple of birthdays out of the way before the holiday ...
So here is another of Krista's digis, Ellie's Birthday.  Again she is coloured using my copics and I added some pearl dots, stickles to the ground and the balloons, a double bow, ribbon and a charm.  The flowers are Spellbinder's Bitty Blossoms and I added a Craftwork Card sentiment to finish it.  The dp is more of that scrummy Basic Grey What's Up.

I used Cocoa's Baby Block, and coloured it using my promarkers.  I have used a new paper for colouring my digis, and am not very happy with its blending ability, so am going baack to Rymans. The dp is DCWV Nana's Nursery and I used a Whimsy die to create the pennant, before adding alphabet stickers.  Some layered ribbon completes it.

Totally Papercrafts Challenge

This week's Totally Papercraft's theme has been picked by Wendy, and she has chosen a colour theme

orange and yellow

Our fabulous sponsor this week is...

I went for something a bit different as I am not a big fan of yellow and orange ...

I used my distress ink pads, spiced marmalade, dried marigold and squeezed lemonade, and stamped them directly onto the card blank.  I stamped the outer 2 first, lining the edge of the pad up with the corner of the card blank so it matched on the corners.  Having stamped the dried marigold I then stamped over using sepia and a text stamp  - simples!!

Exactly the same technique for this one, except I stamped an SU flower stamp in the centre of each ink block, added some buttons and a sentiment.

Challenges:
Crafty Creations - buttons
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
DutchDare - colour challenge (orange, yellow and white)

I diecut the weathered clock from kraft paper and inked the edges.  The bird and cage are a TH shapers and movers die set, and the bird has been inked with walnut stain distress ink, and the cage coloured using vintage photo distress stain, rock candy crackle paint and walnut stain distress ink.  I stamped the Sugar Nellie little birdie and TH sentiments using sepia ink, before adding ribbon, buttons with twine through them and some flat backed pearls.
