25 days of Christmas tags (with Lawn Fawn)

 Hi there!

I'm thrilled to be joining Tracey McNeely's annual 25 days of Christmas tags event! Look at this amazing line up of sponsors:

Lawn Fawn is the sponsor today! I'm joining the rest of the team to show off our best Christmas tags for you!

25 days of Christmas tags (with Lawn Fawn)

I stamped the Santa from Ho-Ho-Holidays in Crunchy Leaf ink and colored him using Copic markers. I used the Large Wreath die set to frame the Santas, and added a little tag from the new Scalloped Circle Gift Tag die set. A little old, a little new!

To make Santa really pop, I added a piece of black cardstock, cut with the Snowy Backdrop die. I then added extra snowflakes to the background and on Santa with a white gel pen and used white paint to give the greenery a flocked look.

I hope you like them! Check out Tracey's blog this morning for more inspiration - click!

Pretty poinsettias (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

 Hi there!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn's inspiration week! Today is our showcase of the Stitched Poinsettia dies and the So Joyful Line Border:

Pretty poinsettias (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I started out by using a sheet of red and white plaid paper (it's older in the Lawn Fawn lineup, and we no longer carry it.) I used a maroon ink and a blender brush to darken the edges and tone down the plaid. I love that the background carries just a hint of a pattern this way. Before continuing onto next steps, I splattered white paint onto the red background.

I then cut out the poinsettia and leaves, as well as sprigs from Large Wreath and Spring Sprig. I played with the composition until I felt like it was full but not too busy, and added the line border sentiment at the bottom.

A wreath for Christmas (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

Hi there!

Lawn Fawn inspiration week is in full swing, and today I'm showing off the Large Wreath dies.

A wreath for Christmas (Lawn Fawn inspiration week)

I made the wreath even larger than intented by using it without the included circle frame. I cut a ton of sprigs in white, and layered them to make a snowy wreath. I then cut little red berries and added glossy accents to make them look more 3D.

I layered the wreath onto a sheet of light blue paper that I embossed with the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop - I love a red and blue color combo!

A red paper bow and little hanging mittens finish things off.

I hope you like it!
