Are you ready for another Copic Colour Challenge? This week's colors were chosen by Chris and are once again fabulous to work with!

So this is what I came up with using these colors. I just purchased this Whipper Snapper stamp called Chester from my LSS, Buffalo Stamps & Stuff over the weekend. These stamps are so fun to color, and I thought he would be perfect for these colors! I used Tempting Turquoise (pretty close match to the BG13 Mint Green copic color), Summer Sun, and Flock Together and Good Morning Sunshine dp. I added lots of Star Dust stickles to my image and also the turquoise dp. It looks so pretty in the light.
I used this week's Mojo Monday layout for this card.
Great layout! The sentiment is from PTI's Handwritten Notes. I wanted "Hi There" and I couldn't find that in my stash of stamps! I know it's there, but I just couldn't find it! So "Hi Ya!" worked fine.
So stop on over to the Copic Colour Challenge blog and check out what the rest of the DT members have done. There are some great creations to look at once again. Let's see what you can come up with this week with these copic colors! I look forward to seeing them! Thanks for stopping by!

Well, I've been trying very hard to keep this a secret, and now I can SHOUT IT OUT! I've been chosen to be on Lauren Meader's new My Time to Create Challenge design team! I can tell you that I literally jumped out of my chair when I read Lauren's email telling me I was chosen! She is so creative and an amazingly talented crafter that I never thought this would happen! Stop on over to her blog and read this post to find out the other talented ladies that were also chosen to be on this design team. I'll get them posted on my blog as soon as I have a chance. I'm actually at work doing this (SHHH!) and will have to make those additions to my sidebar later. You still have time to play in the first MTTC challenge! You can see my entry here and you can post your entry to Mr. Linky on Lauren's blog here. Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my fabulously exciting news! Have a great day...I know I will! :-)
Today's PMS Monday Challenge is hosted by Dawn Wheeler, and she created this fabulous sketch for all of us to try.
I chose to use Lily today. It was such a lovely, warm weekend so I decided an ice cream cone would be nice! I also chose to use some fresh, bright colors and of course had to use pink in honor of Dawn...her blog name is All Pink Girl! I used regal rose cardstock, Sweet Always and Good Morning Sunshine dp. A bright lemon yellow satin Offray ribbon and pink and yellow flowers pulled it all together. The sentiment (which I realized too late is in the wrong place!) is from MFT's Twisted Sentiments. Lily is colored with copic markers which I have listed in the recipe. I hope you can play in our PMS Monday Challenge this week. Let's see what you can do. You don't have to use PMS stamps, but if you have them, why not use them? Post your card to Mr. Linky on the PMS blog, and if you post to SCS/PCP, please use the code PMSMC09. I can't wait to see your creations! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Is this just the cutest image or what? I just loved it when I first saw it and placed my order right away! It's a new image from the Rachelle Anne Miller line from Stampavie called Giving Shelter. I made this card for Lauren Meader's new challenge called My Time to Color Challenge. This is the first in a line of different challenges every week. She chose these colors for her first challenge.
I had them all except for the Smokey Shadow, so I substituted it with SU's Basic Gray.I just love how my ribbon matched this challenge! I just purchased it this weekend at Michael's in their dollar bin! I new it would be used quickly! I also used my new Blossom nesties that I just purchased yesterday at my LSS, Buffalo Stamps & Stuff. We all went there for a shopping spree after our Spring Fest stamping event (see the post below). I also love the sentiment with this...it's from PTI's new Scattered Showers set! I think it's got to be one of my favorites so far! Well, I'm off to bed. I wasn't going to stamp today, but I was so pumped about yesterday's event, that I just had to play again! Please read the next post about the event. It was so much fun and you'll get to see what I made for the swaps I was in! Thanks for stopping by! ETA: I have two posts I did late yesterday, so please scroll down and make sure you see those as well! Thanks!

Hi everyone! It's a beautiful day here in Buffalo...finally the temps are WARM! I had a great day yesterday at our Western NY SCS Spring Fest stamping event! Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the event (although I did have my camera), but I can tell you that everyone there had a blast! I was so excited to see my stamping friends IN PERSON! Friends like Cheryl Rowley, Tracy Harp, Diane Zechman, Michele Ghent, Lynn Englehart, and so many more. I also want to say hello to my new stamping friends Rose and Susan who live close by! Tracy did a fabulous job with the event and pretty much worried herself sick about it, but was super organized and everything went off without a hitch! We hope to do this again next year! Cheryl Rowley and I did a copic marker demonstration to quite a few interested ladies. I think we got some more stampers on the copic craze! They were able to color a cupcake using shading techniques we demonstrated. I really enjoyed doing the demo! There were also so many people and companies who donated generously to this event and I'd like to take the opportunity to thank them all here! We really appreciate your generosity!
There were several swaps to join at this event and I chose the 3-D swap as one of them. I made this using Lauren Meader's My Timeless Template called Take Along Tote, which are available for purchase at Papertrey Ink. Super easy to create! I also cased her tote here, making some changes.
I added four Thank You note cards using an SU alphabet stamp and circle, a PTI set for the sentiment and flourish, and a cuttlebug small folder for embossing.
On the inside, I added a small notepad covered with cardstock and dp and tied off with a ribbon. The back had the same pocket (minus the button) that held the envelopes. I made eight of these invarious colors. I love the way they came together!
We also participated in a gift swap. This is always fun because everyone has such great ideas and really shows their creativity. For my gift, I chose another My Timeless Template called For Keepsake. I used certainly celery as my cardstock and Tea Party dp which was scalloped at the edge. For the window, I chose not to make it see-through. Instead, I used PTI's linen velum stamped with the spool of thread and Enjoy sentiment. Care to guess the contents based on the image? Well, it was a Ball canning jar filled with...buttons!
Buttons are so in right now, so I thought someone would love this! Diane Zechman chose this gift and I hope she can use all of those buttons! I think you'll have these forever, Diane!
Well, that's it for now! I hope you had as great a weekend as I did and have a great week!
