Gothic Arches: Handwriting

Dank je wel Nancy voor het mogen hosten van GAC deze week. Ik koos voor 'Handschrift' als thema. Mijn eigen handschrift is niet echt mooi, toch vind ik het prima om te gebruiken op mijn werk. Het lijkt daardoor zoveel meer van mezelf en dat geeft over het algemeen een goed gevoel :)

Thanks Nancy for the opportunity to host GAC this week. My theme for this week is 'Handwriting'. My own handwriting obvious doesn't deserve an award, even though I like to use it on projects. Things seems to be so more my own when i write text myself instead of printing or stamping. It just feels good to use it :)

WS: Hello, Sunshine

Het thema bij WS is Shunshine. Beter kan haast niet nu ik net weer terug ben van een paar weken fietsen, wandelen, vogels kijken, eten en veel luieren in de zon :)
WS theme this week is Sunshine. Couldn't be better being back from a few weeks of walking, cycling, bird watchig, eating and generally being lazy in the sun :)

Stamps are by Stamp Camp (sun greeting lady) and Stamp-it (numbers)

Gothic arch: trash

Trash... rotzooi... hmmm ik geef de voorkeur aan 'junque', dan lijkt de rotzooi in mijn hokje gelijk een stuk sjieker ;p

Deze week my GA is het thema: Using trash}}} gebruik afval. Nou dat is gelukt: een vetbolnetje dat al een poosje leeg was en een lipje van mijn oude fietstas.
This week GA's theme is: Using trash. Well I've succeeded in that: a netting from the birdfeeding table, that was empty for some time and a leather 'lip' (engl.?) from an old bicycle bag.

Weer een Haiku (zie mijn vorige bericht voor de bron):
Verbaasd door de maan
en verdwaasd door de bloemen,
dwalen ze, vlinders.

Astonished at the moon
and infatuated with the flowers,
they wander, butterflies.

De detailfoto is helemaal van slag wat kleur betreft, maar de structuur van de maan is wel duidelijk te zien zo. De vleugeltjes en het meisje heb ik met een beetje foamtape opgeplakt, de eend is gewoon 'gepritt'. De voelsprietjes heb ik eerst met een paar laagjes gelmedium verstevigd.
De detailphoto is way out of colour, the structure of the moon is in focus and that's why I made this pic in the first place. Wings and girl are attached with some foam tape, duckie is 'glue sticked'. I used gel medium to make the antennae a bit more sturdy.
