C4C152 Happy Haunting....

Happy weekend again....

Here is my card for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C152. Barbara is our host for the month of September and her first challenge is a color theme....USE THESE HALLOWEEN COLORS - GREEN - PURPLE - ORANGE.

I didn't have much time to stamp this week and to be honest I almost forgot to make a card for today's challenge...yikes. To the rescue came this fun new image from the SU Googly Ghouls Set.  I basically inked the little witch in the different colors and added the Googly Eyes. The sentiment is from a PTI Halloween Set. At last I added the *scoring*, the Purple Gingham Ribbon, Button and the Purple Scrapper's Floss...voila.

FLLC In this Life.....

Happy TGIF!!!

It's been another busy week. Time surely flies by fast these days....

Today I have a new Flourishes card for you. The Senior Design Team is focusing on the stamps from the retired list....see listing HERE. I chose to show off the sentiment from the Fuchsias in Bloom Set.

My card came together following the Mojo Monday Sketch #256 and The Shabby Tea Room #129.

I started out with the Flourishes Classic White CS and the Spellbinder Blossom Die. The sentiment was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with the Spellbinder Label Eighteen Die. Next I added some Corrugated Cardboard which I decided to edge & ink distress. The res of my card was embellished with some Yellow Gold Ribbon, the May Arts Fuchsia Ribbon, May Arts Ivory Ribbon,  some Kaiser Pearls and some Flowers.

CQC152, SSIC154, My Soul....

Happy Tuesday!

It's time for a new Color Q Challenge ~ CQC152! We have a a great color combo waiting for you!!!

My card was also inspired by this weeks Stampin' Sister in Christ Challenge #154 ~ Using Punches or Dies. I finally had the opportunity to show off my ODBD Bookmark Dies along with the Bible Verse from the Blessed Virgin Mary Set. My corners were punched with an older EK-Success Corner Adorner. The third element is the Fancy Flourish Die from MFT.

C4C151 It's Sketch time!!!

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm hosting my last August C4C Challenge ~ C4C151. I came up with this sketch and I hope you give it a try?!?

I decided to dig out another poor neglected Papertrey Ink Set...this Limited Edition Set is called Botanical Silhouettes.

I added these SU Ink Colors ~ Marina Mist, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green and Poppy Parade. Next I added the matching DP from the SU Tangerine Tango Collection and the punched out Marina Mist CS in the corner. The rest of the card was embellished with some Marina Mist Ribbon, a Button along with some White Scrapper's Floss and some Silver Pearls.

Distressed Poppies.....

Happy TGIF!

I hope you are looking forward to this weekend as much as I do?!? It was a fun week, but I need some *me* time again...wink!!! I don't think I mentioned that our oldest daughter Sarah made the Volleyball team at her High School. It's their first season ever and they already winning 4 to1. Sarah has waited a long time to have a Volleyball team at her school and she could not be happier!!!

Anyway, I have a new card for you....the Senior Design Team is showing off the beautiful Poppy Patch Set today.

My card came together by stamping the straight flower image three times with Memento Tuxedo Black onto the Flourishes Classic White CS. The Poppies were colored with these Copic Markers ~ R14, R17, Y08, G14 and Colorless Blender. Next, I stamped the sentiment. Then I tore the CS on top and distressed the edges. I also added a double line of piercing on top, along with some beautiful Red Sheer Line Edge Ribbon, a Button and some Floss. At last I added the Kaiser Pearls.

I also combined my card with the Catered Crop - No stress to Distress - Recipe Swap. If you have followed my blog, then you know already how much I love that technique!!!

CQC151 Thanks....

It's time for a new Color Q ~ CQC151....

I decided to dig out some Papertrey Ink Set's that have been neglected for awhile now...the Background Basic Chevron Strips and the main image is from the Limited Edition Set called *A Big Thank You*. My card came together by embellishing it with some scoring, a Doily, Ribbon with matching Button and White Scrapper's Floss, a Flower and some Black Pearls.

I already own some of their fun girl images and today I showing of the super cute Gigi image. The image was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ Y08, Y21, YG11, YG13, R00, R41, B0000, B00, B02, E0000, E00 and a Colorless Blender. The DP is from my SU stash.  At last I finished the card off by adding some piercing, some Pink Ribbon, a Green Button with White Scrapper's Floss and some Silver Pearls.

I decided to show off the new Country Road Set....I'm a huge silhouette fan, so when I saw this new set for the first time I literally did a happy dance!!! I decided to show off the beautiful God's Love Set. It also comes with the matching Butterfly and Butterfly Die!!! For my card I used the awesome silhouette image and one of the sentiments in the set.

My inspiration to create this card came actually from this weeks The Shabby Tea Room #127. This challenge is  asking us to use the following colors- CREAM, PINK, AQUA AND NEWSPAPER PRINT. I immediately thought of the greatest, most comforting book...the Bible.!!! I stamped the silhouette image in the required pink color and for the newspaper print I repeated to ink the quote using aqua on the right hand side. The edges were distressed with some cream ink. At last I added the Doily, the Ribbon with a Button, Scrapper's Floss, Pearls and some Flowers.

Here is my idea.....

My card came together by using the super cute Birthday Pennants Set....I can't believe this is the first time I've inked this baby up!!! BTW, this set also comes with matching Spellbinder Dies...see HERE and HERE. For this card I used the Spellbinder Blossom Die and the Circle Die. I added some  piercing and distressed the edges. At last I added the White Lace Trim and the Blue Striped Ribbon on top, the Blue Button and the Kaiser Pearls.  Everything was stamped onto the awesome Flourishes Classic White CS!!!

HOW TO PLAY: We're celebrating a Banner Day! So, use a banner or pennant style embellishment on your card or creation! Use Flourishes stamps if you have them -- your entries will count twice. If you don't have Flourishes stamps, play along anyway, you could win some! If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCIS5D.
