Baby Boy

Happy Sunday everyone.  Tonight I have a baby boy card to share.  All of the products used on my card can be purchased from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
Believe it or not, I made this card without any stamps!!  I don't think I've ever done that before but it was super easy to do because I had the Kaisercraft Lullaby Collection 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 paper pad.

I chose the cute baby carriage image from the Kaisercraft Lullaby Collection paper pad and matted it onto Spellbinders Lacey Square diecut.  Next I used the Spellbinders Classic Edges One to create a nice border for the left side of the card.  I added a pretty blue bow using blue seam binding.  The little boy tag is also in the paper pad and I added a tiny baker's twine bow.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Next Sunday will be my last guest designing spot for Sharon.  I'm planning a cute scrapbook page so be sure to check back.

Have a great week!

It's A Girl!!

Good morning everyone.  I am super excited today because I'm a guest blogger over at Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply blog - how cool is that!!

Sharon sent me lots and lots of goodies from her online store - Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - to play with, it was hard to choose what I wanted to do.  I decided on a cute baby girl card.

I knew I wanted to make something other than just an ordinary card so I search Splitcoaststampers.com and found the tutorial for this adorable tri-shutter card.  The instructions were super easy and the end result was beautiful.

Once I got the base card made, I chose 2 different pattern papers from Kaiser Craft Lullaby Collection paper pad.  I inked around the edges of the polka dot paper.  For each long end of the card I added a portion of the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die.

I used several stamps sets from JustRite Papercraft to create this card - Bundle Of Joy Vintage Labels Five Clear Stamps, Special Delivery Clear Stamps, and Buntings & Banners Clear Stamps.  Many of the  images was colored using Copic markers and then hand cut.  The cute hanging stars were made using Spellbinders Stars Five die with some Kaiser pink rhinestones added to the points.  The sentiment "Love" was stamped onto a Spellbinders Beaded Circles die cut.

Of course no card would be complete without some gorgeous ribbon from Sharon's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  The large bow was made using May Arts 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Be sure to visit Sharon's online store - she has everything you need to make gorgeous cards for every occasion.
No Time To Stamp?

I am happy to announce that Sharon has asked me to guest design for the next 3 Sundays (November 3, 10 & 17) in the 8 pm EST slot.  This is very exciting and I can't wait to play with the other products that Sharon sent to me.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Be sure to check back for my other 3 guest spots to see what I can come up with.

Have a great day!

Baby Dresser - JustRite Papercraft's Bundle Of Joy Vintage Labels Five stamps

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 6 of JustRite's October release.  Before I begin I just wanted to mention that JustRite Papercraft has a new website and it is AMAZING!!  It's very easy to navagate.  Be sure to head over there and check it out.

Today's set is another amazing baby stamp set called Bundle Of Joy Vintage Labels Five and coordinates with JustRite Vintage Labels 5.
I've seen some of these cute baby dressers on Pinterest and decided to give it a try.  My card base is 4" x 5".  The dresser "legs" were created by using Spellbinders Labels 8 and diecutting a portion of the bottom.  The dresser "drawers" are stamped with Floral Flourishes Background and then cut to fit.  The drawer "knobs" are the cute little buttons included in Bundle of Joy Vintage Labels Five.  The lace across the top of the dresser is made using Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace Border Punch.

When I first saw the JustRite Vintage Labels Six die I instantly thought that it looked like a mirror.  So I created a "mirror" on my dresser by diecutting the Vintage Labels Six for the base.  The cute frame and sentiment are included in Bundle Of Joy Vintage Labels Five and diecut with Vintage Labels Five.

Here are the other designers also showing some super cute projects using Bundle Of Joy Vintage Labels Five.  Be sure to check them out.

Congratulations - JustRite Papercraft's Special Delivery Clear Stamps

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to day 5 of JustRite's October release.  Today's set is a super cute baby stamp set called Special Delivery.

To create my card base I started by stamping Ticking Stripe Background onto white cardstock.  Then I stamped some purple cardstock using Elegant Fronds Background and cut them into little flag shapes.

The sentiment included in Special Delivery is perfect for any baby card!  I stamped the sentiment onto an oval which I had already stamped with Elegant Fronds Background - giving it some extra color.  The mat for the sentiment was diecut using JustRite Vintage Labels Six.  The cute little safety pins are also part of the Special Delivery set - they were stamped and handcut then placed onto the card.

The beautiful ribbon on my card was purchased from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Here are the other JustRite designers also showing some beautiful projects today using Special Delivery.  Be sure to check them out.

I decided to use Samantha Walker's stamps - Sweet Lace Background and Buntings and Banners - for my card today.  My niece is expecting a baby girl this Fall so these stamps came at a perfect time!!

My card base is diecut using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Detailed Scallops.  I used the Sweet Lace Background, stamped and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  The cute banner is created using Buntings and Banners set and diecut with JustRite Buntings and Buttons die.

Both sentiments are included in Buntings and Banners and diecut using Spellbinders Ribbon Banners and Labels 29.  The cute buttons are also included in Buntings and Banners.  To get the "shiny button" look I heat embossed some clear embossing powder after they were stamped.  For more color I applied green Stickles along the edges of the card.

Precious Teddy

Today I am playing along with one of the challenges for the 1 year birthday bash celebrating Cuppie at Taylored Expressions. The challenge is to do Paper Tole on your card. I have never done this technique before so I thought it would be a good challenge for me to do. It is actually kinda fun to make.

The postage stamp looking mats were cut using my Cricut Expression along with the Base Camp cartridge. I added Kaiser rhinestones around the edges to give it a girly look. Then I wrapped white ribbon around both corners and added bows.

I stamped my teddy bear 3 times (2 times on tan cardstock & 1 time on the pink polka dot paper). The first image is cut as is. The 2nd tan teddy I cut and popped her arms. I used 2 layers of pop dots because I wanted a lot of height. The 3rd teddy I only cut the paw pads and ears. To finish off my teddy, I wrapped a nice little bow around her neck.

My sentiment comes from the Baby Stamp Ensemble by JustRite Stampers. It is stamped onto white cardstock using Brilliance Pearescent Orchid and diecut using Spellbinders Labels Four Nestabilities.

I think my little teddy came out really cute. The paper tole was not as difficult as I thought it might be.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today. Be sure to check back tomorrow for more inspiration.
