Happy Birthday Girlie

Happy Friday to you :) So, today is Funday Friday and this week's Challenge:

"Anything Goes"

Create a card, layout or project with

this week's theme!  

 I got to use this cute digi stamp from Sherri Baldy's My Besties collection to use for my card today :) Grab some scraps from my scrap basket that I had in my current counterfeit fit: A Little Fall in the Air. It was fun to use up some of the pink balloon fabric ribbon and that variety border piece that was in the basket for my background (just one more section to use up and the ribbon is about gone too :) So some more things out of that purple container :) This was a good way to keep stash corraled on my desk and making me use it too. That glitter on her flower and the balloon is stickles and the coat buttons is copper Viva pearl pen, I like getting some old stash out and play with it :)

I brought some of that same paper into the inside of the card too. Used memento Lulu Lavender, dug into some old inks and to my surprise of getting this container of inks I had on an upper shelf I found the missing stamps that I've been looking for, for months! Joy! So glad to find them also found the hashtag stamp that I was looking for to put in my current counterfeit kit. Won't be storing anymore stamps in that container :)

Always Radiate Sun Shine for Funday Friday

Hi you all :) We've been having the most beautiful weather here in Pennsylvania :) and the weekend is to be the same. So happy to create the card I did for this week's Funday Friday it's perfect for this weather. This week's challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack is a

"Color Challenge

Use TAN, BLACK & RED"

Well I did use the colors after I realized what thee challenge was, but I also used some yellow for the sunshine:

I used a My Bestie stamp (one of our Sponsors this week is Sherri Baldy Art) Pool Time Polly for my card. Found a fun felt smiley face flower in my stash too that was the perfect embellishment to add to the card. I used a paper from the SU Moonlight paper pad that is in my current kit for the tan matting on the black cardstock for the cardbase. The PL card from a kit in last month's kit gave the sentiment for the card. I have yet to figure out how I'm using the card so the inside just has tan base in it for the desired sentiment when I figure it out. Hi you all sorry for the delay today, we had a power outage over in our area from the winds the other night, finally caused a wire to be knocked out. Took them awhile to get it fixed for some odd reason. So, today is Funday Friday and

I used the current sketch over at Mojo Monday for my card.

 

It was a fun sketch to play with. I used my current counterfeit kit Camera Crazy and last month's kit Color Splash for my card. I just carried the elements from my past 2 kits over to this month too. Thinking of You Funday Friday Challenge

Good morning and welcome :) Thank goodness it's Friday! Yay! It's been hot and very busy here at the house this past week so not as much crafting as I would have liked to have done. We had a Green Bean weekend last weekend. Saturday we did the harvesting, capping the beans and cutting them (10 hours :) Sunday after we got the new to us Cookstove put in the house Dave and I were back at it with canning the green beans. Spent the day canning all that we cut and we ended up with 23 qts and 80 pts of green beans. So I think that were covered for the year maybe 2 years :) so no green beans to be planted next year. So that is what I have been up to this week.

This was just a blast of a sketch to work with :)
Isn't she adorable :) This was my favorite in the group of stamps right off the bat when I seen it. It just looks like your best friend talking to you :) It also reminds me my of my granddaughter right now in her style as a teenage right now :) I thought Thinking of You would be a great card for this fun stamp.

I started to color her with the red and then added the pink and blue afterwards. I added crystal stickles to some of the red to give her some bits of glitter here and there. I used my Bic markers to color her.

The pink polka dot paper came from my current counterfeit kit and when I was looking for some glittery stars I came across this chipboard sentiment in an old counterfeit kit box of embellishments that hasn't been put away yet. Found the box of stars too in the box and decided to use these instead. So added the red washi tape and the blue glitter tape to the card.

I brought in all the elements from the front of the card into the back of the card. Found this fun vellum quote for inside sentiment for the card. Gatefold HB Card for Funday Friday

Hi you all and welcome :) It's been busy and I look forward to showing you my LOAD creations in the near future but today is Funday Friday over at Jo's Scrap Shack
It's Sketch Time and the sponsors are Little Blue Button Stamps and a new sponsor Sherri Baldy Bestie Shop I used one of the digi stamps from our new sponsor and with the sketch was able to create this fun gate card.

The sketch we were to use:
 
 This was a fun sketch to use and just perfect for the gate card.

 So the button embellishment is actually what is used to keep the card closed. The paper for the card came from last month's counterfeit kit and the bakers twine for the bow came from this month's kit. I used my cardstock that matched pretty close and the sentiment comes from 3 Twenty Crafts Simple Sentiment stamp set.

Here is the card half opened to show the gate fold, just need to add the inside sentiment yet and then it's ready.  This was a fun card to make and the cute digi stamp was so fun to color too :) Looking forward to seeing what you create with the sketch :)
