BEST VISUAL NOVEL GAME EVER!

ending one made me cry, i love this game and its characters quite a lot. i like the development on Lee going from super perfect and straight cut to having his own flaws and past

Hey homie and every dev of this game, thank you for making such masterpiece. 

And after playing it halfway through the game, i noticed the deep, underlying themes you were exploring right away, the weight of being misunderstood, the extreme desolation and repression, and the whole “don't care if its right or wrong as long as he loves me wholeheartedly,” motif. By the time I reached the basement, choosing 'Accept' felt like my only resonable choice to that specific brand of isolation, of why a soul would choose that sanctuary over a cold reality, it's too relatable. 

 and nevertheless, they really hit it off during the first few sessions. (blue bandages, talking about the paintings on the wall) <3 !!

It is rare to see the desperate craving for connection handled with such clinical and emotional precision. 

One small wrinkle on the plot regards after the discovery of the shrine though, but ofc still A hauntingly accurate piece of work!! The 'Reality Testing' was a success :D   Thank you for writing an emotional truth that feels so terrifyingly real.

Absolutely loved this :)

I played this game in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. The game has this quiet tension that grows little by little, and the mix of walking around and reading dialogue works well together. It feels quiet but still tense. The two main characters stand out a lot. Their talks feel real, and their small habits and actions make them easy to connect with. The writing is simple but strong, and what hit me most was how my view of the characters kept shifting while I played. Sometimes I felt safe, and other times I couldn’t tell what would happen next. 

SPOILER. I got to see both endings, though I felt more satisfied with the one where things turned out well for the characters. It’s only a few hours long, but it leaves a mark, and I really enjoyed the bonus scenes too!

I loved this game btw. 

I don't really have much of anything to say, but this game was amazingly honestly. I found a clip of the bonus cutscene, and I really really liked it from what I say, and actually having played this Clinical Trial, it's a super good game, I really liked this a lot. Plus, Angel and Lee remind me a lot of my husband and I.

I'm not fantastic at writing reviews, but I'll give it a shot nonetheless.

I came across Clinical Trial a few days ago, shortly before its one year anniversary. I was bored and it looked interesting so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm usually drawn to horror games but not necessarily to games made in RPGMaker, so I went in with low expectations but was proven immensely wrong.

I finished the game in one straight session, the characters and the storyline were so incredibly captivating and perfectly complimented by the visuals and soundtrack that it made me rawdog through the entire game, I don't regret getting only a few hours of sleep!

The dialogue felt so human to me and the way Lee and Angel behaved through their sprites/visuals made it all the more enjoyable to play and immerse myself in the story. Biting your finger, chewing on the drawstrings of your hoodie, who doesn't do that?

I made my boyfriend play the game a couple days later because my hyper obsession spilled over to him, he enjoyed it a lot.

Angel and Lee are a really cute couple, and the art on Twitter has only reinforced that belief. There's so much talented, cutesy art that it almost makes you forget that Lee drilled through someone's Spinal Cord.  <3

A strong 5/5 Stars, chef's kiss and everything! If Homie ever has the intentions of creating a sequel or more art I'd gladly pay for it!!!

It'd be cool to see Homie make a Discord server if they haven't already. Having a place to drivel about my favourite ADHD-Autism Power couple would be fun.

O jogo é simplesmente PERFEITO. eu amei tudo, a arte, história, o jeito em que tudo se desenrola, e principalmente, os personagens. Por mais breves que alguns foram, todos são muito únicos de seu próprio modo. o sistema de escolhas é bem feito e aparece em "bons momentos". ambos os finais foram incríveis, simplesmente foda. com certeza virou um dos meus jogos indie favoritos. muito obrigado por esse jogo incrível que vocês fizeram S2

My English is pretty basic.Let me describe it in Traditional Chinese.

就走向而言，我認為第一個選擇才是真的結局，即便這不是一個好結局，但我認為這樣才足以扣合上這個遊戲的核心。

第二個選擇除了彌補外，我覺得更多是要引申出用藥物試用實驗裡題的“對照組”一詞的概念。正常與非正常者在整個故事來說是對照出來的，藥物實驗裡在受試者體內注入藥劑，就是藉由外物使人發生改變。第一個選擇中主角安吉拉在面對改變自己生命軌跡的李，做出了有別以往的反抗與更多的情緒行為，使他意識到自己並沒有想像的這麼不正常，因為眼前有一位更超乎自己想像的存在，但這無疑是一種沉痛的治療過程，甚至會留下更多的副作用。

而第二選擇則更像是植入安慰劑，主角的改變並非受到刺激而發生實質的變化，他更多的是從知道真相後泰然地面對自己不正常人生中那些殘缺美好的一面，並用著自己的方式去包容自己的狀態，以及眼前這位在乎自己的李，他的反應就如同在進行藥物實驗時李告訴安吉拉是身為安慰劑對照組那般。

雖說我覺得第一個選項是真實，但不妨把兩個結局並在一起對照著看真的會很有意思。這故事很簡單，但是對話文本細膩，及兩種大膽且極具反差的結局選擇，與標題達成了一種奇妙的共鳴，可甜可虐，真的是佳作。

I may be nitpicking small details but I don't understand why Lee has Angel's gum saved in his shrine.
The gum event happens in Angel's 2nd visit, so that implies he became obsessed over their first meeting?
Was he already obsessed before the game started? Well, I don't see anything implying that in the game so I don't think that's the answer. I feel like by the first encounter is a bit too sudden...

But overall this was amazing. You are a really skilled writer.

Tu juego es precioso. Me hizo llorar con ambos finales. La música, los diseños, la jugabilidad, los diálogos, TODO es hermoso. Ame la sensación de como se relacionan, teniendo conversaciones torpes, nerviosas y como poco a poco se van acercando para después darnos los dos finales.  Si haces otro juego te aseguro que lo jugaré y disfrutaré tanto como con este  🥺🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
