Get it on a sale (as in 350 days out of 365), play it for 4 days, get frustrated and drop it forever. The good days are long gone. For now?

This game is a great idea, truly, great gameplay mechanic, immense strategic depth. It simply doesn't survive. Just look at the community numbers going up and diving down like the Greek stock exchange after a while.

If you manage to survive the nightmare that is the matchmaking system and actually gather a crew of 3 desperate souls, then maybe, MAYBE, the game can show its potential.

To Demonseed: I wasn't referring to MY experience, but to "John Doe" who sees it on sale for the same price of a beer. Plus I consider 981 hours enough to evaluate a product and decide if I'd recommend it to someone or not.

Hey Fox,

When we decided to make a multiplayer game we knew it would be our job to make sure there was a community for players to play in.
That's why we run sales and hold events (like the one now that has us at 2900 players.) With this goal in mind we've had games going 24/7 for the over two and a half years we've been around.
Having player numbers jump around is pretty common for most games especially us smaller ones that do get peaks and falls around big events.
I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time in the game with your negative review though.
