- If a teammate leaves your game and doesn't return, you still lose the normal amount of MMR .
- Since the Siege X update the game has been crashing significantly more than usual for many players. People leaving competitive and then rejoining 2 rounds later is not uncommon.
- 10 years in development and still no solution to cheaters. Cheating is common - around 1 in every 4 or 5 matches and more common in higher ranks.
- The new anti-cheat seems to be significantly worse.
- The new spacial audio system is very temperamental.
- The new "Ranked 2.0" system allows high ranked players to play in low rank lobbies - provided they queue with a few very low rank players. The ranked system decides what teams queue in what skill-groups by taking a team MMR average instead of selecting the skill-group of the highest ranked player; therefore, some ranked games are frustrating to play and unwinnable.
- Hit reg is inconsistent. Sometimes a person shot in the head will not die .

- To surrender ALL players must select yes to a surrender. Many times an unwinnable game won't be surrendered because one person either doesn't have a F5 key or is trolling—frustrating.
- The game has significantly reduced the renown gained (~60%) to incentivise purchasing boosters and battlepasses - this makes it harder for new players to get new operators.
- The battlepasses are cheap but don't usually have any good skins
- Most matches are pretty toxic
- New anti-cheat system doesn't cancel matches with cheaters like promised

That being said, when the game works—when all the hitreg is working correctly; when there are no cheaters or smurfs in your lobby; when you're playing well with your team and they're understanding of mistakes; when the game runs without performance issues; and when the audio system works well—the game is amazing. Easily one of the best games I have ever played. It is strategic, engaging, and fun; however, after the most recent Siege X update, even after 900 hours, I struggle to recommend this game.
