It's a departure from the trilogy, playing out as a mostly linear experience with very little reason to backtrack and re-explore old areas, or grind at all, but as a stand-alone title, it's charming, the voice acting is top tier, and it looks solid (when DLSS / TXAA isn't absolutely trashing things -- the weapon shop was particularly problematic).

Is it worth $60? Eh, but not many modern titles are. I nabbed it on sale.
Is it a Ratchet and Clank game? Eh, mostly? Characters mostly feel good, the writing is mostly fun.

I wish it wasn't published by Sony, but I doubted we'd see a title in this franchise without their involvement.

Did I have fun? Absolutely, and I hope to see more with the new cast in the future.
