Goodbye Summer . . . Hello Fall

Nice cool weather and football season is underway. Hopefully the Pack can squash the Cowboys tonight and then my Chargers can finally get a win tomorrow night when we send Mr. Favre packing!

Had a little fun this afternoon with some sprinkles I picked up at Target.





Off to Minnesota tomorrow and I'm hoping on a little fall weather there as well. I love this time of year!

You Know Any Excuse to Scrap!

So now that most of the work is finished I can go back to enjoying Sunday afternoons in my favorite spot in the house - my SCRAPROOM! Put together this mini album to document everyone's hard work.

Have had a lot of good feedback from the neighbors about the color choice. In actuality they are probably just happy it's not the old peeling paint look.

Friday the new sliding glass door arrived. It looks great. Just one problem - the Pella factory forgot to include the screen door! Thankfully this was not the usual Santa Ana September weather that we usually have so a weekend with no screen wasn't that awful.

Best part though - after 24 years we finally have our whole house painted. In the past when the paint has peeled Mark thought he only needed to paint the front of the house, after all that's the only part the neighbors see! Now you know why he isn't in charge of house cleaning around here!
