Earth Hour 2017: Thanks for loving Momma Earth

March 25th we all came together all over the world and celebrated Earth Hour. Me plushie Instagram Friends also joined in, like last year. Thank you all! You made it an Earth Hour to remember again! Me used me plushie friend photos in this blog. Please know they not mine. If you see a picture that belongs to you and you no want to be posted here, let me know. Me will take it down. Hi everybody! Me back here in Pet’s Mews with some important news. March 25th 2017 it will be Earth Hour again. Me always celebrate Earth Hour with me friends. Last year me did the #cookiereportearthhour where me asked if you all wanted to help me by posting a picture of you during your Earth Hour. It was a great success (you can read all about it on me blog if you simply click here). This year me hope you all will join in again. But first me will tell you more about Earth Hour.

Get your trunk on for World Elephant Day

Everybody that know me, knows me love elephants. They are so beautiful and sweet. Me love how they find food with their trunks and uses very very low sounds (people no can hear them) to communicate with each other. When me visit a zoo with me best friend Berry, and there are elephants, we always pay them a visit. Me was there the day after little Madiba was born in Safaripark Beekse Bergen, a Dutch zoo with African elephants. And me always visit them at DierenPark Amersfoort where a group of Asian elephants live. Me love them. And that is why it makes me so mad – me even loose appetite for cookie – that there are people shooting elephants only for their tusks… (picture taken at DierenPark Amersfoort)

Cookie Report Earth Hour Challenge was Awesome

Me know Earth Hour was a while ago, but me had no time yet to talk about it to you all. Remember: Cookie Report Earth Hour Challenge. Me asked me friends to also enjoy Earth Hour at March 19 during their local time. And because me has friends all over the world, we made a huge wave all over the globe, letting people know we love Momma Earth. So, me is sharing the pictures here too, because me love me friends so much for participating. O and me loved the fact that the Dutch branche of WWF noticed me picture too and reposted it! Cool huh! Cookie Report Earth Hour Challenge Update

Hi everybody! Me promised to post updates about the challenge so nobody will forget to participate this coming Earth Hour. Well... me first update is that me sweater is totally finished! Berry no had put the buttons on me sweater, but this weekend she did. So now me sweater with the Panda of WWF no is longer held up with safety pins on the back. What do you think? Neat huh! Now me only need to rally up all me friends and buy some candles for Earth Hour on March 19!

Cookie Report Earth Hour Challenge

Hi everybody! Me know it still is a while before it is here, but me wanted to prepare early for Earth Hour 2016. Last year me friend Berry challenged herself and wrote an original story and poem during this hour in the dark. If you can read Dutch you can find the story here: CoegiesKeevie.blogspot.nl. The poem or song lyric is in English though. She wrote it by hand by candlelight. Me watched in awe and it inspired me to do something me self this year. But me no can do this on me own, me need all me friends to participate!
