Snippets of ME...

Well golly gosh how I have missed my scrapping world lately.  You would think that rest and relaxation would come with the kiddos back in school, but it's been the opposite for me.  After spending the weekend at some soccer games, I finally was able to hang out for a bit at my craft desk due to major thunderstorms!  Yay for rain!!  :)  Oh yes.. and Football on the TV.  Gotta love this time of year. With that said, the challenge over at LASTING MEMORIES is "ALL ABOUT ME."  I decided to focus on ME at the here and now, at this time of my life. 

Most of my layout was using an older kit from the Teresa Collins line.  I am liking this color scheme lately.  Thinking about painting a room with them.  The quote on the left is an OLD rub-on from ??  And then older alphas in the title as well.   Enter HERE to play with LMCB # 157. I also would like to enter this over at CREATIVE SCRAPPERS  using their newest sketch # 251. And, this continues my scrapping journey with the 50 layout challenge. This is 2 / 50. Good Morning!!  Today is the next fun challenge over at Digi Darla's Challenges. 

The theme is "Animal Crackers"

Lets see some animals on those projects this week!!!

And here is my creation... using "Hippo in Tube" from Floppy Latte Designs.

We all had an opportunity to go spend a few days with my parent's last weekend at their summer place... my growing up summer place... in the 100 degrees plus temps!  This is my Hubby and kiddos tubin'!!  The kids are finally getting a little more brave.  They want to go faster and even got outside the wake of the boat.  Progress!!  I had fun using this HIPPO image.  It was perfect for these photos!!

I varied from the sketch slightly... since I had 4 photos to showcase instead of 3.  But it's the basic idea.  :-)  Hope you enjoy!!  Most of my paper is from Stampin Up and Little Yellow Bicycle "Splash" collection.
