New Card with My Counterfeit Kit

This card is surprisingly simple, but I think I like how it turned out!  I used some leftover MME papers from my Counterfeit Kit.  The vintage book paper is also from the kit.  I cut some layered shapes with my Cameo, inked the edges of everything, stamped a little sentiment, added some pearls (stamp set and pearls are CTMH) and voila!  Completed card!

I used this sketch from Scrapbooker's Paradise blog:

I also want to link up to:
Use Your Stuff #109 - Use limited supplies.  I used only items from my kit!
JUGS #214 - background of words.  That's my vintage paper.

Thanks for looking!!!

Little Girl Card For JUGS and Scrap-tures

I started to make this card for Some Odd Girl's Digi Day Challenge, but I guess I didn't read all the fine print and missed the deadline. Woops! I used a sketch from Just Us Girls, and I used lace for Scrap-tures January 8th challenge, although you can't really see the lace that well in the photo. I really like how this card turned out, and I think it will make a great b-day card for some little girl. Do you like my machine-stitched photo corners? This image is Star-Bright Tia, and she's a freebie from Some Odd Girl. You should definitely snatch her up this month! I think she is so adorable, and very fun to colour!

Supplies (all CTMH): You Rock Level 2 paper pack, Shining Star My Acrylix stamp set, White Daisy and Outdoor Denim Exclusive Inks stamp pad, blending pen

Other: unknown lace, Some Odd Girl image, Ranger Distress Stickles, Copic markers

Little Princess

Hey, here's some cool news! I was chosen as a fave over at Some Odd Girl for my last card! YOW!!! So I thought I might try something similar for this card. I used sketch 78 from Card Patterns (flipped upside down) and the colours from Just Us Girls (lime, hot pink, and teal). I love these colours, and I almost cut into my new papers from Cosmo Cricket's Delovely line, but I just couldn't do it! Instead, I used up some scraps from Close to My Heart's Whoops-A-Daisy. This pack is nearly finished, and I will be sad to see it go. Anyhoo, I paper pieced this little princess's dress, shoes, and even the wand and crown, so I will enter her into the Simon Says Stamp challenge for this week (which is paper piecing, go figure!). I think this will make a cute birthday card for a little girl.

Supplies (all CTMH): White Daisy cardstock and card base, other cardstock and patterned paper from Whoops-a-Daisy Level 2 paper pack, Little Princess My Acrylix stamp set, Exclusive Inks stamp pad in Black, Exclusive Inks marker in Parchment, Prisma Glitter, Liquid Glass, White Daisy organdy ribbon, watercolour pencils, blending pen

Other: Sugar Coated cardstock by Doodlebug, unknown button and gem

Post Script: Aw man, I just went over to JUGS to link up and I missed the deadline! Don't ya hate it when that happens?

Fiver!

This here is a birthday card for my friend Jill. She looooooves cowboys! Her birthday's not until November, but hey, at least I'm ahead of the game. I've been holding onto this postcard with the cowboy for at least 13 years, and now I know why! And the card qualifies for 5 challenges! That's gotta be a record for me. The challenges are:

1. Design Dollies: colours this week are Royal Blue, Teal/Aqua, and Orange
2. Some Odd Girl: ribbons and rub-ons
3. JUGS: cowboy-inspired
4. Our Creative Corner: use sketch 28

5. Pile it on: OK, I just realized that my card doesn't meet the requirements for this challenge, but I've already linked up to all the other sites with this title on my post. So I guess it's not a fiver, but still, the effort was there.

So, I hope Jill's not reading this blog, otherwise the surprise will be ruined. And I hope her husband's not too jealous of the handsome cowboy I'm sending her!

Supplies (all CTMH): White Daisy cardstock, Splendour level 2 patterned paper

Other: Cosmo Cricket rub-on, unknown ribbon, postcard
