A Pirate's Life for Me

The swap theme on my Stampscapes II Yahoo group for June was Pirates and this is the scene I made for Trish who lives Down Under.  The Pirates, barrels and treasure chest are digital images from Mo's Digital Pencil, the pirate ship is clip art.  I arranged the digi images using Adobe Photoshop Elements and then printed them onto Cryogen paper with my laser printer.  I ran the paper through again with Eclipse tape over the images so I could create masks.  All of the scenic elements are Stampscapes Rubber Stamps.  I used my Copic markers to color the scene.  Finished size is around 8" square.

My online Scenic Copic class starts next week at My Creative Classroom.  You will learn to color all elements of a scene.

Stampscapes Cabin Retreat full scene

I thought you might like to know the colors I used on this scene that I taught in a Copic class.  The finished scene is a full sheet of paper, 8.5 x 11 inches.

I stamped the image on Cryogen white paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  Copics used:
Grass - G40, E51  Flick - G24
Bank - E50
Water - B000, B00
Rocks - E70, E11, YG03, E71
Trees - E33, G40, G82
Cabin - E11, E13, E15
Chimney - E08
The sky was airbrushed with B23 and B24.

What a peaceful retreat, huh?  Thanks for stopping by.

Copic Stampscapes Class

Here is the sample for my upcoming Copic Stampscapes class.  This will be the first full sheet, 8.5 x 11 inches, scene that I have taught.  I think it will be a fun class.
