My Heart.......

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the first day of JustRite Papercraft's February release.  Today's sets are called Upcycled Woodgrain Background and Morning Glory.

I used the Upcycled Woodgrain Background to create the base of my card.  I added some darker ink around the edges to give it some extra depth.  Next I diecut the heart from the background, inked the edges and then placed it back into the same spot.  I really like this effect.

The sentiment is included in the Loving Sentiments set and I thought it was really fitting for the theme of my card.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto the Upcycled Woodgrain Background.

Happy Valentine's Day

Good morning.  Today is a very emotional day for my.  One year ago today my Mom passed away.  I miss her every day!!  I'm glad that I had a project to work on for today to try and keep my mind occupied.

Today is the final day of JustRite Papercraft's January release.  Today's set is called Spring Wishes Vintage Labels Eight and Nine.  This set has the perfect sentiments that we all use and need on a regular basis.

My card base uses JustRite Papercraft's Reversed Crackle Background - one of my new favorite background stamps!!  The focal point of my card uses Spellbinders Heart Circles intertwined with a banner.  The edges of the banner were shaped by using Spellbinders Classic Diamonds.

The center heart is made using Spellbinders Classic Scallop Hearts and Classic Hearts.  All sentiments are included in Spring Wishes Vintage Labels Eight and Nine.  The smaller "love you" sentiment is also part of Spring Wishes Vintage Labels Eight and Nine and fit perfectly on the tips of the banner.

Love Note

Good morning.  Welcome to Day 3 of JustRite Papercraft's July release.  Today's release sets are sort of a blast from the past for me because the stamp theme is typewriters.  I remember using these typewriters when I was taking typing class in high school!!  Now there aren't many people that use typewriters anymore.

The focal point of my card using the typewriter stamp from "Just Typed" along with the matching SVG cut file.  I also used sentiments which are included in "Typewriter Sentiments".  I wanted to create the banner across the top of my card so I just stamped the "I Love You" stamp as individual words.  The banner was diecut using JustRite's Buntings and Button die.

Owl Be Yours

Good morning everyone.  Today is day 2 of JustRite Papercraft's March release.  There are 2 stamps today - Cascading Ferns Background and Owl Be There Clear Stamps.  I've used both to make this Valentine's Day card that I gave to my husband this year.

I began by stamping the Cascading Ferns Background using Versamark and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.  Next I used the baby wipe technique along with Faber Castel Gelatos.  I think it gives the background a really soft look.

Next came the cute owls included in the Owl Be There Clear Stamp set!!  This set also has a compatible SVG file however at the time that I made my card I didn't have the SVG so I had to hand cut all of the images.  One more reason that I am in love with the new SVG files that JustRite is offering!!  I colored all of the images with Copics.  The sentiment was diecut using JustRite Papercraft's Vintage Sentiment Tag die.

Dear Husband

Good afternoon everyone.  Today I have a card to share that I've made for my hubby.  We recently celebrated our 16th Wedding Anniversary so I wanted to make a special card to show him how special he is to me.  My husband is also a huge fisherman/boater so these stamp sets from JustRite were perfect!

I really like the look of layers for cards - this card is no exception.  The top layer happens to be a piece of burlap that I had sitting around just waiting for the perfect card!  I inked the edges using Memento Rich Cocoa.

All of the images and sentiments (except the little anchor) are part of the JustRite Anchors Away set.  The little anchor is part of JustRite Monogram Your Journey set.

The center map image is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with JustRite Nested Oval Medallion Labels.  The boat is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Circles.    
The card sentiment is diecut with JustRite Antique Tags One.  The cute banner across the top of the card was created using JustRite Buntings and Buttons die with the cute little anchors from Monogram Your Journey stamped onto it.
