Gift Box

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 3 of JustRite Papercraft's August release.  Today there is 1 stamp set and 2 die sets --  Celebrations Sentiments, Vintage Labels Nine die and Vintage Flourish One die.

If you've visited my blog in the past you may have noticed that I really like to create 3-D projects, especially boxes.  That is exactly what I decided to do today when I saw the new Vintage Labels Nine die.  It seemed like the perfect shape to create a beautiful gift box.

I diecut 7 pieces using the JustRite Vintage Labels Nine die, taped them all together and then adhered it to a Spellbinders Grand Stately Circles diecut.  I added some flowers using Spellbinders Carnation Creations die and Spellbinders Foliage 2 leaves.

The cover is made using Spellbinders Grand Stately Circles and Grand Circles.  The handle is hand cut with some pearls applied.  The flowers are also made using Spellbinders Carnation Creations.  

The cute tag is a sentiment from Celebrations Sentiments, diecut using JustRite Vintage Labels 6 and hung with some gold string.  The final step was to wrap a beautiful ribbon around the box and add a pretty pink bow.

Snowflake gift bag

Good morning everyone.  Today is the final day of JustRite Papercraft's July release.  I hope you've enjoyed seeing all of the projects as much as I've had making them.

Today's release sets are Snowflakes, Snowflake Vintage Labels Seven and Merry Christmas Sentiment.

I began with a plain gold gift bag which is okay but needed improvements.  I began by stamping the Winter Wonder Background onto Kraft cardstock using Versamark Embossing ink, applied gold embossing powder and heat embossed it.  The snowflakes really pop out!

Next I used the Snowflakes matching SVG cut files to cut some snowflakes out of kraft cardstock, stamped the snowflakes using Versamark embossing ink, applied white embossing powder and heat embossed it. They are attached to the gift back using gold cording and pop dots.

Then I stamped a frame and sentiment from Snowflakes Vintage Labels 7, added color with Copic markers and diecut using JustRite Papercraft Vintage Labels 7 die.  This is also attached using pop dots.

The trim across the bottom and top are made using Martha Stewart Beaded Arch border punch.  To finish it off I added some Kaiser pearls and some bows.

Sunflower basket

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to more of JustRite Papercraft's July release.  Today's sets are Stitched Sunflowers and Basketweave Background.

To create my basket I used the instructions found on Marisa Job's blog - it's super easy!!  Once I diecut the basket sides (using JustRite Papercraft's Vintage and Labels Banner dies) I stamped them using the Basket weave background stamp.

The cute sunflowers are included in the Stitched Sunflowers Vintage Labels Eight set which also has a matching SVG cut file - making it super easy to create a beautiful basket!  The 3-D sunflower hanging from the handle is also created using Stitched Sunflowers Vintage Labels Eight set - all I did was stamp the image 5 times, fold in half, and attach to each other.  It's hung using fishing line.

Vintage Fan

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 2 of JustRite Papercraft's July release.  Today's set is called Floral Fan clear stamps and has a coordinating die set called Vintage Fan.

Today I decided to go a different route away from cards.  I decided to create a home decor piece.  This is a fairly large piece.  The black piece measures approximately 9" wide.   I used the Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals One for the base pieces.  

The fan is created using JustRite Papercraft's Floral Fan Elements, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder giving the fan a glossy look.  The fan pieces are diecut using JustRite Papercraft's Vintage Fan dies.  Once the fan pieces were attached, I added some black lace along the top edge of the fan.

To finish the decor piece, I added some cute bows on the bottom of the hanger and a bow with a flower along the bottom of the fan.

Stitched Flowers gift card holder

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the first day of JustRite Papercraft's March release.  Today's set is called Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags.  The March release sets have an extra special feature - they have a SVG file that matches the stamps making designing projects even better!!!  For those that don't know what SVG files are here is the link to the information on the JustRite Papercraft website.

One of my new favorite tools is the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board which is what I used today to make some cute little gift card holders.   The paper size is 5" x 5" and scored at 3".

Now came the really fun part!!  I used my electronic die cutting machine, cut the mats, stamped the cute images from Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags and colored them with Copics.  These new SVG files are so cool!!  No more fussy cutting, JustRite has made our projects faster and nicer.

Apron Recipe Book - Home Bakery Labels clear stamps

Good morning everyone.  Today I have a cute apron recipe book gift idea to share.  This could be used for a house warming gift or a bridal shower gift. 

The apron is cut using the GrandeMARK Roller Die Cutting System with the apron die.  Once the pieces are cut I assembled it using the Zutter binding system.

Tuesday Tutorial - Filigree Diamond Background Stamp

Birthday Party Goody Bags

Good morning everyone.  Today I have a quick and easy project for your next kid's birthday party.

These cute boxes are some pre-cut boxes that I've had FOREVER!!  It's one of those instances where I saw them in the store, decided that I NEEDED to have them, bought them, and never used them.  I'm guessing that I've had them for at least 4-5 years.  Oh, well at least they were there when I needed them.

The cute little cupcakes are created using the new JustRite dies - Cupcake Stand dies.  They are also compatible with the new JustRite Papercraft Cupcake Celebrations clear stamps.

The sentiment is also included in Cupcake Celebrations clear stamps and diecut with JustRite Papercraft Vintage Labels Three.

JustRite Papercraft December Release Day 2 - Remember When Background Stamp

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 2 of JustRite Papercraft's December release.  Today there are 2 stamp sets being shown - Call Me Soon Clear Stamps and Remember When Background Stamp.  I chose to use Remember When Background Stamp to create a vintage notepad.

To create the notepad cover I cut 2 pieces of chipboard 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" and 1 piece 8 1/4" x 1 1/4", laid them out onto designer paper, and adhered the edges down.

Cover the inside of the notepad cover with more designer paper to hide the edges and then add the notepad.

Next I stamped the Remember When Background Stamp, inked the edges and applied it to the notepad cover.  The pens and the sentiment are a sneak peak at the set being shown on Friday called Just A Note Vintage Sentiment Tags Clear Stamps .

JustRite Papercraft Baking Antique Tags One Clear Stamps

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the final day of JustRite Papercraft's September release.  I hope you've enjoyed all of the inspiration this week.  I know that I had a blast playing with these new stamps.

Today there are 2 stamps being showcased - Frog & Water Lily Pad Clear Stamps and Baking Antique Tags One Clear Stamps.

I chose to use the Baking Antique Tags One Clear stamps to create this fun recipe card/holder.  I created the apron by using the GrandeMarke Roller Die Cutting System with the A7 Apron Invite die.  The sentiment on the apron is included in Baking Antique Tags One Clear Stamps, diecut using Antique Tags One and matted onto Spellbinders Gold Labels Four die.

For the recipe card I typed my recipe for Peanut Butter Balls on my computer and printed it out.  I only make these peanut butter balls at Christmas time.  It's a special treat for family and friends - I get lots of requests for them all year but I make everyone wait for Christmas - makes it more special.

Once I printed the recipe and cut it to the desired size I stamped the cardstock using Elegant Fronds Background Cling Stamp using Versamagic Wheat ink, giving it a beautiful background instead of plain white cardstock. The sentiment and frame on the recipe card is also included in Baking Antique Tags One Clear Stamps and diecut using Antique Tags One die.

JustRite Papercraft June Release Day 4

Good morning and welcome to Day 4 of the JustRite June Release.  Today we have some really great Halloween stamps - Boo-tiful Cameos and Spiderweb Background.  These sets were designed by Samantha Walker

 I decided to make a cute little Halloween treat bag using today's Halloween Stamps.  Once I diecut the bag from cardstock I stamped the Spiderweb background using Memento Tuxedo Black.

The sentiment "Trick or Treat" and cameo are included in Boo-tiful Cameos.  To get the multi color I just applied Memento Grape Jelly and Memento Tangelo randomly.  The sentiment is diecut with Spellbinders Square Swatches.  The spider is also part of the Boo-tiful Cameos and just handcut.  The word "Halloween" was also multi-inked.

Rejoice

Good morning everyone.  I hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July weekend.  We went to a BBQ at my parents and then watched the fireworks.  It was a nice show.  We also got a new puppy over the weekend so there have been a few sleepless nights!  Now I need to get back on schedule!

Today is another JustRite introduction - this one is called "Rejoice" and every element of this set is gorgeous!  It comes as a large oval ribbed set which includes 4 beautiful borders and centers.  As soon as I saw this set I thought of my grandmother.  She has a very strong faith and is very inspiring.  I decided to create a prayer journal to give her for her birthday.

The book measures 8" tall x 5" wide.  It is just made from 3 pieces of chipboard held together by the paper (Moxxie Faith Baptism).  Along the left edge I used the Martha Stewart Iron Gate border punch and added Kaiser pearls.  The center image comes from the "Rejoice" set, stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals.  The bottom mat is diecut with Spellbinders Labels 10.

The above photo shows the inside view.  I stamped the cross image from "Rejoice" 3 times onto yellow cardstock, diecut with Spellbinders Labels 10 and matted onto blue cardstock diecut with Spellbinders Labels 10.  I also used the Martha Stewart Iron Gate border punch again to make a finished look.

The word "Rejoice" is created with the JustRite Curlz Upper and Lower case font.

You Are The Best

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to another great JustRite May release.  Today's release is called "You Are The Best" and comes as a set of 17 cling stamps.  This set is an awesome set because it includes stamps for the "men" projects that we all struggle so hard to make. 

I decided to make a cute apron box for my dad for Father's Day.  He is the BBQ King in our family.  Summer always consists of BBQ's and family gatherings.  I diecut the apron front and back, then made the box to fit.  The fence border was made using the Martha Stewart picket fence border punch.

The "award" is made using stamps from the "You Are The Best" cling set stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and Memento Bamboo Leaves.  This stamp was created to fit perfectly with the Spellbinders Blossom 3 die making it so easy to create awards for all of the special people in your life.  I also wanted to personalize my box so I reached for the JustRite Times Roman font.  I didn't have any trouble centering the letters onto the ribbon tails because I used one of the JustRite clear stampers - a perfect combination!

To further decorate my dad's box, I used more sentiments from the "You Are The Best" cling set, stamped them with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with the JustRite Custom Charm Dies.  They fit perfectly and added a great look to the box.
