Good morning everyone. Today I have a pretty card using a new JustRite Papercraft stamp set called Chrysanthemums and a new die set called Heart and Frame.
I used a sentiment from the Chrysanthemums set and placed it onto the beautiful layers of the Heart and Frame die set. I decided to cut each layer of the die with different paper to give more color and dimension to it - I really love this new die!!
Thanks for stopping in for a visit today. I hope you have a great day!!

My card has several layers which adds lots of dimension to my card. The poinsettia is created using Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia.

Update on life.....
Good afternoon everyone. I can't believe that it's been so long since I posted here. I just don't know where the time goes!!
I've had a lot going on in my life and I'm hoping to get back to posting on a regular basis. Crafting has always been a needed escape for me and I really need to get back to it.
As part of my update I decided it was time to update the look of my blog. As I was searching for a new blog header I came across the one showing on my blog now. As I found this header, it brought tears to my eyes. The name of the header is "Mamie Rae". My mom passed away 2 years ago and my life has been in turmoil since. My 2 girls had always called my mom "Mamy" and her first name was "Rae". It was as though my mom was sitting next to me guiding me to this header. My mom used to love checking out my newest blog posts and giving me constructive criticism. I miss her everyday!
Thanks for listening to me. Now I need to get busy creating!!!

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today. I will be showing some scrapbook pages that I've made of my baby granddaughter soon - I used more sets from JustRite's November release so be sure to check back over the next few weeks to check those out.
Have a great day!
I cut all of the Christmas stocking using my Cricut Expression with the Christmas Cheer cartridge. Next I used the JustRite Papercraft Christmas Mini Tags set to stamp each day of the month. The cute border around my calendar is made using Martha Stewart loops border punch. I bought the small clothespins at Hobby Lobby.
Below is a closeup of the star which was made using Spellbinders Stars 5. The sentiment is also included in JustRite Papercraft's Christmas Mini Tags.

Thinking of you....
Good morning.... Today I have another card using a set from the JustRite Papercraft October release. Today's set is called Morning Splendor.
I chose to stamp the morning glory using Versamark and black embossing powder - I think it gives a really nice look against the white cardstock. I added some yellow glitter to the centers for some extra "pop".
The sentiment is also included in "Morning Splendor", stamped onto Spellbinders Majestic Oval die.
Along the bottom of my card I used Martha Stewart Beaded Arcs border punch and added some yellow stones.

Best Wishes......
Good morning. Welcome to JustRite Papercrafts October stamp release. I'm pretty sure you're gonna love all of these stamps - I know I do!!
Today's set is called Grand Wedding Wishes. It is an awesome set for creating beautiful wedding cards however some of the sentiments would work on other types of cards as well.
Here is a look at the front of my card. To create the card base I used the Cuttlebug Hearts embossing folder cut into strips. I also used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and the Martha Stewart Lace Hearts border punch across the top of the card.
The beautiful sentiment from Grand Wedding Wishes is stamped in black and diecut using Spellbinders Labels 4.
Here is a look at the inside of my card. I used the same Cuttlebug Heart embossing folder. I then used another beautiful sentiment from Grand Wedding Wishes stamped in black and diecut using Spellbinders Labels 4. Now I just need to get invited to a wedding ~LOL~

Joyeux Noel......
Good morning. Today is the final day of JustRite Papercraft's August release. I hope you've enjoyed the JustRite comeback as much as I have. I'm sure there's more great products to come - stay tuned.
Today I created a card using Festive Grand Christmas Sentiments. These sentiments are perfect for creating a wide variety of Christmas cards.
My card style these days has been clean and simple and today is no exception. I stamped the sentiment onto a Spellbinders Labels 17 diecut, added a few layers and some seam binding - done!! This card could easily be mass produced but still looks like you spent a lot of time making it.

Season's Greetings
Good morning everyone. Today is my final day as guest designer for Joy Clair. I have really enjoyed creating with these stamps.
Today's sets are called Rustic Christmas Sentiments and Rustic Occasions Sentiments.
I have always had a love for pine cones mostly due to my grandmother's love of pine cones. I used 3 different ones from these sets to create the top and bottom borders. The focal image in the center is from the Rustic Christmas Sentiments colored with Copic markers.

So Grateful............
Good morning everyone - I FINALLY have a card to post!! Life has gotten so crazy at my house so I was very happy to escape to my craft room and play with paper.
Today I'm very excited to be a guest designer for a new stamp company Joy Clair. These stamps are really nice and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Today's set is called Hello Autumn - although I'm not looking forward to winter, I do love the Autumn season here in Maine.
The beautiful sentiment and leaves are all part of the Hello Autumn set. Once I stamped the sentiment I diecut it using Spellbinders Labels 11 and layered it with a larger size. Ribbon and lace finish off my Autumn card.
Here are some other familiar guest designers that also created some beautiful cards using Hello Autumn. Be sure to check them out.

Milk Can restoration
Hi everyone - I can't believe that it's been April since I've done a blog post!! Things have been crazy at my house so I haven't had much crafting time.
Today's post doesn't use any paper or stamping supplies but I thought I would share it with you anyway. Back in July my family took a mini vacation to Pennsylvania. On the way home we made a detour to the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in New Milford, Connecticut. I've watched Flea Market Flip on tv and really wanted to check out this flea market.
As we were walking through I spotted this old milk can. I've always wanted to have one of these just because I think they are really cute.
This is what it looked like when I bought it:
Once I got it home then I had to decide how to refinish it. Of course the first place I looked was Pinterest for some ideas.
To begin I used a grinder to get all of the old chipped paint off - here is what it looked like then:

Once I got it home then I had to decide how to refinish it. Of course the first place I looked was Pinterest for some ideas.
To begin I used a grinder to get all of the old chipped paint off - here is what it looked like then:
I didn't even realize that it was yellow underneath the black paint.
Next I spray painted it with Rustoleum Rust color paint and then sprayed it lightly using Rustoleum Hammered Gray paint - I wanted some of the rust color to show through to make it look "old". Next I made some stencils using my Cricut to recreate the wording "Hood Registered 1941". I spray painted the wording heavier with the Rustoleum Hammered Gray.
This is how it looked after it was painted:
The final step was to figure out how to decorate it. Once again I went to Pinterest to get some ideas. I knew that I wanted to put some cattails in it because I really love cattails. Luckily I happened to drive by a field filled with cattails so I pulled over and grabbed several. I also wanted to put some other filler grass in along with the cattails. I found some wheat grass at Hobby Lobby that I thought would look really nice. I arranged the cattails and wheat grass and then added a burlap bow and some pinecones.
I really love how it turned out. Now the trick will be to keep my 2 cats from destroying it!!
Thanks for stopping in for a visit. I'll try to not be away for so long next time!

Zoe vs. Hose
Good morning everyone. Today I have a scrapbook page using JustRite Papercraft's April release called Furry Friends. I'm sure I'm not the only one that considers pets to be part of the family. Our dog Zoe is no exception. Sometimes I truly believe that she thinks she is human!!
Zoe LOVES playing with the water hose!! I captured her having fun in this cute scrapbook page using elements from the Furry Friends set as well as the new Grunge Alphabet set. The paw prints are so adorable and worked really well in creating the center panel. The Grunge Alphabet set is perfect for creating scrapbook page titles and adding a personal touch to a page.
Here are the other JustRite Papercraft designers also showing some projects today using this fun Furry Friends set - be sure to check them out.

Zoe.....
Good morning everyone - I can't believe how long it's been since I posted - things have been crazy at my house but I'm hoping things will begin to get back to normal so I can get back to crafting!!
Today I made a cute scrapbook page of our dog Zoe using some new JustRite Papercraft stamp sets - Pet Sympathy Sentiments and Grunge Alphabet.
Although the set Pet Sympathy Sentiments was intended to be used to create cards for friends and family who have lost a beloved pet I decided to create a "happier" scrapbook page using some of the same stamps. Zoe loves to go on our boat! She enjoys the breeze as we cruise down the lake. She also enjoys helping my husband "drive" the boat and becomes his co-pilot.
The adorable little puppy head looks so much like my Zoe that I had to use it! I stamped several of the sentiments and randomly placed them on the page. I also used the cute little paw print and created 2 strips to add to the top and bottom of my page.
Here is a list of other JustRite Papercraft designers also with some nice projects today using Pet Sympathy Sentiments - please check them out......
Thanks for stopping in for a visit today. Be sure to check back tomorrow for another scrapbook page.
Have a great day!

Smiles.........
Good morning. Today I have another pretty card to share using JustRite Papercraft's February release set called Hello Buttercup along with Reversed Crackle Background. Here in Maine we have been getting so much snow!! I am more than ready to see my flowers bloom.
I started my card by creating a sunburst base and using the Reversed Crackle Background along the bottom of the card. I love the look of a sunburst card and it is really easy to make. Next I stamped the flowers from Hello Buttercup onto the matching SVG cut file, colored them with Copics and added some orange bead centers. The sentiment is also included in Hello Buttercup.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I am currently working as a freelance designer in some capacity for JustRite Papercraft. While I am compensated by them in some form, I maintain the freedom as an independent designer to say what I truly think of their products. I will never recommend something that I don't personally use and enjoy
