When I was making this card, it really seemed like spring was here....but that didn't last long. Now it's back to winter coats. Of course, wouldn't you know it....I was really in the mood for some spring cleaning. As luck would have it, that mood has now passed, and now I'll be hoping that this lovely lady comes to life and takes over. Maybe she can come to your house too. This is another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps and you can find her here. It is always much more fun to colour the mop and bucket than actually use it!
Today I've used a kraft card, with a bit of washi tape for the edge, and then a panel covered with 3 different dp from my scraps stash. The flowers are all rub-ons, and a black marker was used for the sentiment and the faux stitching. The image has once again been coloured with copics, and this time I have fussy cut it out, attaching with foam dots for a bit of dimension.
I think I'd best hold on to this one for a bit, and keep my fingers crossed that we don't get any snow! Hope the temperatures are much warmer where you are! Take care.
Some challenges for my card:
Here we go, with another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, titled Mobility Malcolm. With the golden years fast approaching, perhaps we should start checking out some new wheels. My younger brother likes to hit the road on a smart red motorcycle. I'm thinking maybe this model and colour combo would be perfect when he has to trade up to four wheels. We'll see what he says at his birthday. lol
I've used a Kraft card today, that I purchased from Michaels. As it isn't as heavy a card as I would have liked, I've added another layer in behind. Once again I've coloured with copics, adding pan pastels for the yellow background.
The winds are howling outside, as I type this, but hopefully the weather man's forecast for better weather will come true. Come on spring... please!
Take care, and thanks for visiting.

Flowers for Spring
Good morning, and hopefully a wonderful day!
I bit of good news for me, the physio and acupuncture sessions that I have been having, seem to be giving me some relief with my hip. I've now got some exercises I can do, and with luck I'll make it to my surgery! That is months away, so it seems.
All this plus the better weather too...what more could I ask for!
No colouring today, other than a bit of gold pen....this time I've used some decoupage. One does tend to forget that we purchased these things. I do hope my memory isn't going too...ha ha.
The paper and ribbon are from my stash and for the die cut I've used Ankara Lace, from Cheery Lynn.
Here's wishing you a wonderful weekend, and hopefully you can get some time for yourself. Maybe some sunshine too!

Some bunny loves you....
Easter is over for another year, and the kids are back to school tomorrow. If one looks closely, there are a few buds on the trees, and finally the snow is pretty well gone. Maybe soon, it will actually feel like spring and we'll be able to put the winter coats away. We can hope.....
I actually managed to get a couple of Easter cards made up, as I opted to give a bit of money rather than chocolates.....letting the Easter Bunny do his thing. This one uses as older image from Pixie Dust Studio, coloured with copics and then edged with distress ink. The papers have all been around for a bit too, and I'm trying to use up some of my scraps for the layered bits.
Hope you all had a good weekend and perhaps a bit of sunshine.....and maybe some chocolate too!

Dreaming....
Although it may be Easter weekend, the signs of spring are hard to find. I recall in years past, when we wore spring outfits and enjoyed time outside in the warm sun. Not this year. We are still wearing winter coats and the weather man is calling for snow? I'm sure hoping he has it wrong!
As a reminder that warmer days are coming, I've made a card with lots of bright spring colours. I've used watercolours to do up this sweet stamp, and a number of dies to cut it out and frame it. The little butterflies are actually fussy cut from washi tape....nice easy touch.
Items used:
Wild Rose Studio stamp - In the Meadow
Spellbinders dies - Labels Eight and Decorative Labels Eight
So happy Easter everyone! Hoping you all get to spend time with family and friends, and maybe even enjoy a bit of sunshine....miracles do happen!
